About Us

Founder/CEO

Brendaley Cadette is the dedicated and visionary founder of NoTude Just Chill™ CIC (NTJC CIC). With over 38 years of experience—28 of them since becoming fully qualified—working with children, young people, and their families, Brendaley has committed her life to supporting communities impacted by gang violence, exploitation, and serious youth crime.

Throughout her career, she has played pivotal roles in managing gang intervention programmes and providing vital support to families affected by violence, making a real difference in many lives. Her leadership and expertise have had a lasting positive impact.

Brendaley founded NTJC CIC with a clear goal: to offer young people positive alternatives, helping them break free from harmful cycles and reach their full potential.

Background History

Brendaley Cadette was born in January 1965 in Kensington, West London, into a life full of challenges from the very start.

Born with heart failure and haemangioma—a condition that caused facial disfigurement due to a benign tumour during infancy—her early days were filled with uncertainty. Some doctors doubted whether she would survive beyond her time in the hospital.

As part of a Roman Catholic family, Brendaley was baptised soon after birth, with her godparents—a doctor and a nurse—reflecting the level of medical care she needed at that time. She spent the first ten months of her life in hospital, but against all odds, she not only survived but thrived.

The last two years have been one of the most challenging for Brendaley; in January 2022, she struggled after having an Aphasia Stroke (which impacted her cognitive skills) and then being assaulted in February 2022. Brendaley suffered anxiety, low mood and depression.

However, Looking back at it all, Brendaley believes her journey shows she is here for a purpose (Proverbs 16:4 – “The LORD has made everything for its purpose”).

Her experiences of resilience and strength have shaped her life’s mission: to support and uplift others facing their own struggles.
